When is the norm for whom ever to schedule your bridal shower.

I'd say about three months typically. Give people a chance to recover from the gift giving!!!

its usually 1-3 months before. I am not planning my shower, i do want to be surprised but everything has been booked for mine and invites are going out soon from what i know...other than that i guess mine is in february or march

It all really depends. Some even do it a month before. I would say average is 2-3 months before. For ones that I have thrown, 2 have been a little over 3 months before the wedding simply because of everyone's schedule.

i am getting married dec 20th i told my mom to have it about 3 months before but i dont want it too early or to late. my mom said august cause we could have it at the house outside. then when she saw the amount of women she second guessed herself
so i think we might have it the weekend of when i was supposed ot be getting married in sept so either sept 27th or 28th - almost exactly 3 months before the wedding

2-3 months before.
My cousin is getting married April 18th and her Shower is March 3rd..she knows the date & is annoyed, because she really needs every free weekend in March to finish up little things.
I think I'd feel the same. I told my mom to have mine in May or June.

I want to be suprised for my shower but I asked my sister (MOH) and my mother to do it some time in late April or May because I have so many other occasions to go to. Christening in late May, Christening in early June, Wedding in late June and a Christening in July. April or May are really the only good months for me. So that would be 3-4 months before the weddings.

yeah our wedding is october so two months before would be like July.. hmm not bad summer out fit. Mine is a surprise so i just want to be able to tell my mom/sisters what days i have things ya know.
Then when will the bach parties be? is that one or two months before? hmmmm

I just found out my shower is next weekend, so that's a little less than 2 months before my wedding. My bach party weekend is Feb 9th, so that's like 4 weeks before the wedding.

Usually it is 4-12 weeks before the wedding. Mine will most likely be in July since that is when my sister and FSIL are both in town.

i know my shower date-
im an oct bride but i have to have it in march bc my grandma from greece is here and she's leaving end of march- and wont be back until my wedding....
im excited- we booked everything got a nice theme going too!
