When to have rehearsal dinner??

I am getting married on a Friday night in November. What do you think would be better for the rehearsal: to have it the night before on a Thursday night or the week before on a Friday night?
I was thinking it would be nice to have it the night before because then it would be all exciting and it would be the last time I see FH before we get married, etc. But maybe a Friday would be better for people with work schedules.
What do you think?

I would say the night before. Most people will probably take that day off anyway, since most attendess will be in the BP. And like you said, it will definitely be VERY EXCITING!!!

I would go with the Friday before the wedding. Things are going to be soooooo hectic. I'm getting married on a Sunday and doing mine on the Friday before, this way theres less stress. Good Luck

I have to have mine the night before since I have so many OOT guests and I don't want them to have to take off even more time. But if that's not an issue, go for whichever you prefer. If your wedding is in the morning you might not want to be out late the night before, but I know what you mean about the excitement! (my wedding is in the morning btw )
