When to mail out invites...

When to mail out invites...

Given that it's a holiday weekend...I know I should give a bit more time that the recommended 8 weeks...

If I send them out mid August.. that's about 15 weeks before the wedding.. Is that too much time?

Hmmmmm. I would probably send them more towards beginning of September (maybe even mid Sept) with RSVP date 10/26. HTH

i would recommend a RSVP date of AT LEAST 10/26, if not before that... can you change them?

I agree but honestly if its already printed dont even worry about it. Its almost a month so its okay.

as far as sending them, I would send them 1st week of september.

Yes, I can change them - they are the last things I'm printing...

I'll date them for 10/20... and slate them to send the first week of sept..

Thanks!!

Yup.. I think that's too much time. It gives more people the opportunity to lose the invites and the info.
I'd go with 1 1/2-2 months before your RSVP date.
