when to make hair and make-up appointments

how far in advance do u need to book your hair and make-up? do they usually go to you or do you have to go to a salon. and what is a reasonable price?

Im using Jillian and Sarah of Gorgeous Faces they both travel and are sooooooo amazing. I actually went to them a few weeks ago before i went to a wedding and it was great....

I made my appointment last month but have yet to make a date for my trials. On of my bridesmaids used them for her weddings (2) and she swears by them.

I'd say as soon as possible! At least book a couple of trials. I know that Jacqueline Nicole was booked for my day and I tried to book about a year in advance.

I would book soon as you find someone you like... makeup and hair artists tend to book really far in advance... I used OKSANA and JENN from the Hair Genie and was SOOO happy with how everything turned out...

I would do it maybe 4 months ahead or three months. I kinda waited about 1 month and a half and felt that I wasn't really able to do enough research or trials. But I was happy with my results the wedding day, but I would have liked to have more hair trials.
