FH and I are having a destination wedding (Coronado, CA) in Feb 2011. When should we notify our guests of the hotel information? When we send out the STD's (March 2010) or with the formal invite?
Im telling my guests when I send out the save the dates, a year in advance.
I will be sending out the hotel info along with the STDs and I will be sending those out at the end of May. I want my guests to be able to have this info ahead of time. I am also going to be sending the hotel info out again (maybe) with the invitations.
I did it w/ my STD's.
I'm from San Diego!!! My mom lives about ten minutes away from Coronado!!! Soooo beautiful!! Congrats!

I would definitely send it with the Save the date since it is a destination wedding.

STDs
I sent hotel info with the STD's for my OOT guests and BP. I will send the rest with my invites.
I think the sooner the better. I posted the info on our wedding website and sent everyone a blast email highlighting the hotel block info. I also added the wedding website address to the STD that was sent a few months later so they can see it there. Finally I am enclosing the hotel block insert with the invitation.
