I'd say you're ok to order it any time now. We ordered ours before Christmas.

i always think the earlier the better. if you already know what you want.. why wait till you have to rush?

just get it over with and then you'll have one less thing to worry about.

i think it depends on the FG's ages ... mine will be 3 years old so we're waiting as long as possible to buy the dress (don't want to buy one and then have her outgrow it)

i'll prob be buying the dress 2 or 3 months before the wedding

I have 2 little ones (one will be 2 at the wedding and the other will be 1.5) and one 7 year old, I asked the store when is the latest that I can order, just incase of growth and they told me late april. . . . but the designer of the dress that I am ordering come in quick.

I don't plan on getting my FG dresses until about 3 months before the wedding because the way the kids grow these days she may not fit it if I order any earlier LOL

Ditto. We actually just purchased the FG dresses last week! Check out Century 21, they have some great stuff!

2-3 month before the wedding, you dont want to order it too early and then she grows out of it

Probably two months before. The dresses only take 10 days to come in. Mine are only going to be 2 and 3, so to measure them so far ahead seemed silly. If yours are older, their growth might be predicable enough that you can order them earlier.
