When to order tuxes?

My wedding date is 10/1/05, when should the guys order the tuxes?

I heard anywhere from 6 months to 6 weeks so this is a good question!

We rented ours yesterday and our date is May 6th and he said 'you have plenty of time'

My date is May 21st and I'm going to get the guys together in the beginning of April. 4 to 6 should be enough time.

i'm getting married june 25th... i picked out the tuxes 2 weeks ago, and the guys are going to get measured next week or the week after... i figure its close enough, and just get it done so i can cross one more thing off my list

We went to the tux place a couple of weeks. There are a lot of proms in June so wanted to be safe. We have not finalized the color of the vest yet, but we reserved the amount we need. You have plenty of time.
