How far in advance did your order your wedding bands?

We already know what we want, but are waiting until closer to the wedding to purchase them. They'll arrive a day or two after we order them...

The wedding's 5 and a half months away... When should we order them?

FH and I had ours custom made by a friend of the family. It took him about 3 weeks to make them. We actually just picked them up 2 weeks ago.

We had custom ones made and that took a month..... I am all for getting things down early if you have the $.

Exactly what I'm afraid of!

I'm thinking we'll wait two more months at least. I mean, we may as well enjoy all the interest we're earing on our money!

Plus, they'd just be sitting around...

I just want everything done!

we ordered ours yesterday..it'll take a few weeks. I'm all about crossing things off the list but I can understand waiting and building up more interest.

We ordered ours last January and they came in February, our wedding was in June. It was SO hard to have them for 4 months and not be able to wear them!!!!!!!!!!

We are getting married in October and ordered our wedding bands 2 weeks ago.

We ordered ours 8 months in advance (we knew what we wanted so we just decided to buy them)

You all are making it very difficult to wait.

I'll see what FH wants to do about it... Maybe he'll want to get them out of the way - one less thing to worry about!

I am getting married in June and I bought my wedding bands last July. It really is killer to have them and not be able to wear them. I made my parents put them in the safe because I knew I'd walk around the house with them on!!!

We ordered ours last week and should be ready in March and our wedding is 8 mths away, we have the $$ now so we wanted to get it out of the way since we also knew what we wanted.

I just got mine last weekend! I made FH keep them at his place b/c I know I'll keep wearing it and looking at it..
