when to send?

i should be gettin my std in the mail today!!! if i mail them this may/june is that to early? a year in advance? when are you sending yours?

a year is ok, most who do a year are people who are having holiday weekend wedding or destination wedding and other than that its 8-10 months...but if you want to send them out soon it should be fine

I am probably going to send mine out in September. I feel like it's still over a year away an too soon to send them out. Past weddings I have received the save the dates no more than 6 months in advance so I guess it depends on the person.

We are sending ours 8-9 months in advance but that is only because we just ordered them last weekend. Opps!

my book of 'weddiqutte' says 9 months in advance, a year if you're having a destination wedding but I say it's your wedding, your money, you mail them out whenever you want to.

I would deff. wait till your year mark. And as stated above usually its 6-9 months in advance if its not a holidays weekend or destination wedding but do what you wish

My wedding is a holdiay weekend, so I am definitely sending them out a year in advance.

I wouldn't send them out more than a year in advance. If I got an STD over a year ahead of time, I'd probably throw it in a drawer and think, 'it's so far away, I'll get to that some other time...' and then forget all about it. Only 9, 10 months away, I'd hang it up on my fridge.

I feel so behind. I haven't even looked at STD cards and I am getting married in january.
