I wanted to run this past to make sure I am about right re: dates ....
Wedding is October 2nd RSVP is August 28th which is 5 weeks before
Planning on mailing invites July 17th...thats 6 weeks before....
Thoughts?

Thank you. I just needed some reassurance :)
I just found out, too, that my church doesn't supply direction cards....going to have to throw those together and print them.
Think I should get stock paper or have it printed at staples or kinkos or something or is printing it on regular paper ok??

i printed my RH directions on regular paper... card stock will make the envelope heavier and that will make the stamps more expensive...

any of you guys doing a b list?
I am concerned about timing for this purpose... I was thinking of mailing the week of 7/18 with an RSVP date of 9/2 or thereabouts...... that way i'll have some time to send out b list ones and still have them be able to Rsvp

We have a handful of people that we would like to invite if we get some quick Nos....thats why re figured the full 6 weeks for the RSVP would allow for that.

I'm hoping to send my invites out as soon as I get them.. and hopefully I'll get them soon. Half of my wedding is from out of state, so we're going to do RSVP date either last week of August or 1st week of September (because I know how people like to take time answering them).

I'm mailing three months before since it's a mini destination wedding, but your dates sound right to me!
