How far in advance did you send your invitations? My wedding's 7/24 and I had 6/19 printed as the RSVP date.

Our wedding was March 6th and I had an RSVP of 2/18 and sent them out the day after Christmas....I couldn't wait anymore!!!

I'm so sorry I can't help. My wedding is Sept.5 and I have no idea when to do the mailing out or response. I hope someone answers this.

My wedding is Sept 18th. My RSVP date is Aug 18th so I am mailing them June 26th. They are suppose to go out 6-8 weeks before the RSVP date.

Ok now I am freaking out! They are supposed to go out 6- 8 weeks b/4 the response date? Mine are going out a month b/4 which is next week.

Mine went out a month before. Everything was fine, don't panic. A month is long enough to give people to respond!!!

I am sending mine out next week! I didn't send STD's and I am having the wedding on a holiday weekend. This way no one makes plans!

My wedding is August 14, response date July 14, and I will mail sometime in early June.

I think it also depends on when you need to have your final head count at your place or if you have hotel blocks, when they will be released. Our wedding is on August 7th, my final head count is due July 19th and the holds on our hotel blocks will be lifted around July 7th. Therefore, we are going to send our invitations out the last week in May.
Now if we could only find an invitation we like everything would be alright.

I thought it was usually 8 weeks before teh WEDDING you sent them out. I am sending mine out after easter the RSVP is May 20th I always heard you dont want to send them out too eary b/c people tend to put them to the side and forget about RSVPing if its too far in advance!

Sunshine, just an FYI, it took my invites less than 6 days to come in at Party City! They were sooo quick!!!

ours is 10/30 we have 9/ 18 as the rsvp and we are sending them the last week in may
