we're picking up our envelopes from the calligrapher today (YAY!!), and i was planning on mailing out the invitations this weekend, monday the latest. my dad thinks it's way to early. we have an RSVP date of 1/15/08. should i wait a week or two, or just mail them out now. i know my MOHs are waiting until after i mail the invitations to mail out the shower invites. what do i do??

Because of the holidays, it may be a good idea to mail them out now. Otherwise, people get crazed around the hyolidays and might forget to RSVP?

I agree...the holidays really slow up the mail system. They say to send out invites 4-8 weeks in advance. I might do mine sooner just to get them out.

Ditto to everyone else. Holiday mail slows everything down quite a bit. I'd rather have them sent early.

yeah..mine is 2-23 and im sending them out friday
only because half the guest list it OOT adn holiday mail too
