I'm getting married the week after you and I'm most likely (if all goes as planned) sending them out the end of April/beginning of May. My response date is June 8th. If I were you, I would send them out a little earlier than that because of the holiday...you never know what people have planned.

did you send out a save-the-date card? if so, then i wouldn't worry about sending them out too early. i am also on a holiday weekend, but my STDs gave everyone a heads up in january, so i am sending out my invites 8 weeks before the day.
if you haven't sent out STDs, i would send out the invites up to 12 weeks in advance, to give people enough notice.

Our wedding is the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend, so I'm in a similar spot...I sent them out today. That's 70 days (2 mos, 10 days) until the big day. I made my RSVP date 4/18/05 so that I have time to call the people that will not RSVP (which will be mostly all).
