I know this question has been posted but i wasnt up to STDs when i last saw it. Im getting married July 14, 06. When should i send? Can anyone post theirs too so i can get a sense of what to write? THANKS

I would say like 6 or 7 months out. We might send ours out a little earlier b/c we are getting married on a holiday weekend. We want to give people enough time to make plans.

I'm sending mine before the end of the month. We have a lot of OOT family and friends. I want to give everyone plenty of time to arrange travel.

We're sending ours around June 15, 05. So a year before. But most of our guests are OOT. We're doing magnets, but we will probably print up a letter saying that we're getting married, enclosed is hotel info, and we hope to see you there. Something along those lines.

We're sending them out in July/August for our April 30 wedding. Here are some STD's I'm having designed. I'm going to add our wedding website and a one-liner about hotel info as well.
Here is my STD. I am getting married on 6/29/06 and plan on gathering hotel info this June/July and sending it out with my STDs just after 4th of July this year.
I'm getting married in April and am having an engagement party in July. I plan to send them out with my e-party thank yous. It will save on stamps and kill 2 birds with one stone

I'm getting married next June but I already sent mine out. I think we did them in February. I figure the earlier the better since we're not having an e-party. On the other hand, they only went to my family since he doesn't have any addresses from his side! Grrrrrrrrr!!

Us too! Mine are all done, just have to get all the addresses and send them out. I also have to call the hotels to block some rooms.
It looks like this- but with our names, and I also added 'Formal Invitation to Follow' at the bottom.
