My wedding is going to be on a Sunday (ending by 9pm) the day after New Years day. Being that it is a holiday time and a sunday, how far in advance should i send out save the dates? Is sending them a year or 11mo in advance too far?

Since yours is near a holiday, I would send them out sooner than later. Although, I guess I got caught up and excited, I sent mine out about 15 months before the wedding...

I think a year is plenty of time.
Maybe send them out with this year's holiday cards?

since our wedding was a holiday weekend too, we sent them about 14 mos beforehand.

I'm sending mine at the 1yr mark. My wedding will be on a Sunday too so I want people to be prepared

If you are getting magnets, I wouldn't say it's too early to send them out as most people would put them on their refrigarators anyway...contant reminder But maybe by the end of this year would be cool

im sending mine out 12 months before. i like 9-12 months i normal. since yours a is a holiday weekend i would aim for closer to a year before.

There are really no rules about save the dates BUT I think a year is far enough in advance to send them out.
