When to start dress shopping

Do you have a time frame in mind- for those of you who don't have yor dress already...

I have a few designers in mind that I have seen pics of that I like...

For those of you who have your gown... who designed it and where did you get it?

i was thinking the same thing... i was going to start looking in maybe january.. i have a pic of the dress i want.. just don't know how it's gonna look on me.. i'm gonna start with the stores that have a wide variety like lestans(in Bklyn)& kleinfeld b/c i work in the city... and try and narrow it down from there by what looks good on me..

At least thats my plan for now.. but come january who knows

Maybe summer or soo..Maybe next winter ever....

I just have a fashion and design schizophrenia!

I can't tell you how many times I've changed colors and what have you of the wedding..

I see something I like and I get stuck on it...until the next time I see something I like better....

And I have this feeling if I get a dress soon...I'll want another later...

Um.. I'm a girl that does stuff WAAAY ahead of time... my wedding is in a year and a half.. and I already tried on a few dresses.. I KNOW I HAVE ISSUES LOL

hopefully ill start looking in January when Im off from school. I tried on a few and at first when my friends decided to go wedding dress shopping I freaked out at the idea!!

Well I'm an organize freak so I've already gone shopping and I think I found the one - I think I'll be ordering it in Jan/Feb. because it will be discontinued after March.

i think i will go in march/april i want to have all or most of vendors booked so then my only worries are saving the money and shopping shopping shopping

I want to go now! But my mom said we can't start looking until January.. so in the meantime I've been looking up dresses online so I have an idea of what I want to try on when i go to the stores. Hopefully I will like on me what I like on the models!

I'm going to start in the spring. I think all the new designs come out right after the New Year.

Just some advice-you may want to wait until a year before to get the dress. Some places will not hold the dress and then you will have to store it. Styles change and get discontinued-and weight may change for some. JMO .

The dress may not be available. I was looking for one of the 2005 dresses and it wasn't available until about the summer of this year.

I've tried on 2 dresses but I already know which one I want!
