When is a good time to look for BM dresses? I will be going for my dress this fall, do I start looking for their dresses then also? This is the one thing I am confused about, the timing of dress purchase's...

I went BM dress shopping for my girlfriend's wedding and we were told the dresses would take anywhere from 4 to 5 months to come in. SO that's plenty of time. I like to start looking early so I have time to really be 100% sure of my choice. :)

I think you should be fine if you go when you get your dress, you could even wait a couple of months after you get your dress
speaking of, this is something we haven't done yet my bm's are soo difficult with this one

i found my girls dresses a few of them tried them on already just waiting till i get my dress 1st,,
i think you should get ur dress 1 st Gaby then whenever after u have ur dress

dessy.com go there to browse.. see hwat u like and what u hate..just to get ideas. they have a huuuge selection.
also, the store wher eu get ur dress form will give u discounts all around if u get ur bm dresses from them.

I am going to start looking around June/July i have girls with different shapes in my bp so this is going to be a bit difficult! I've heard recommendations of shopping for dresses from 8-6 months before the wedding!

im going in september which is almost at the 1 year mark... if your going for your dress in the fall i might thing about doing bms before so you dont have to do both, it might get a little overwhelming but its up to you, otherwise shop for both at the same time, that may help in seeing how they look together

Some of them do, I think it varies per salon.
I am looking online for ideas, prob order dresses in may or so for a January wedding

most do, lillettes gives 10% off the bm's dresses, i think that is what most do

I know which ones I want to get, I'm having all the girls come down this weekend for a party and they are all going to see/ try them on to ensure that those are the ones we want. I'm going to wait until October to actually have them ordered for my wedding in Aug. (10 months in advance).
Since I want the BM color in my wedding gown I need to ensure the dresses we decide on comes in that color otherwise my gown may not be able to be ordered with the color accent.

i plan to go around 8 months before....6 mths the latest.
