Probably a silly question but I was just wondering when most people take their pictures with their FH? Day of wedding before the ceremony, or few days before wedding (in the wedding clothes?) or post-wedding ceremony but before CH? Just wanted to know what other people did, thanks!

Although FH doesn't want to, I believe we're going to take the some pics before the ceremony and then some after. I don't want to spend the CH taking pics!

i never heard of doing it few days before the wedding, especially not since most of us want our husbands to be surprised when they see us the day of
i had an afternoon ceremony at 2:30pm and ch starting at 7:30 so since i had a gap i took them after the ceremony. For those that have a ceremony and reception following soon after they take pics before the ceremony

Me three! I'm starting them 3 hours before the ceremony so that we have time to 're-group' and freshen up before everything starts.

We also took our pictures before the ceremony. It worked out perfectly because there was no way we were missing our CH!

thank you for all the replies. we were thinking of doing them before the ceremony as well - especially since we don't really have time between ceremony & CH and didn't want to miss CH for pics. A lot of ppl tend to have pics in various locations - beach/park/etc. - didnt' know if that was feasible in just the couple of hours pre-ceremony (we're having ours at noon). any thoughts?

well plans have changed we were going to do them pre ceremony - but we are going to do them after the ceremony for a 1/2 hour so we can get to CH before it ends but get all of the family photos out of the way pre ceremony
