When do people toss the petals/rice/birdseed at a wedding? I see everyone posting their beautiful petal cones and I'm confused as to where they fit in. If I am having my ceremony ouytdoors at my RH, how does that work?

They threw them at us after we were pronounced man and wife and walked back down th eaisle after we were married - we got married ourside at out RH but it rained so we're under a tent

After the ceremony when you are walking back down the aisle

It can be done one of two ways: 1. When the bride and groom walk up the aisle - people can throw it at them
2. When the bride and groom come out from the Church/ceremony site to be greeted by the guests
