When was the last time...

It snowed nice on Long Island and you were able to make a snowman??? Seriously? I feel bad for kids today around here- I remember it being so pretty outside- Damn you global warming!!!

I used to like the snow when i was little now that i drive. I HATE IT. ughh unless school is opening late tomorrow. then i love it

lol- I know... this afternoon the roads were SO bad... FH saw 12 accidents on the Southern State... Sunrise was a disaster... gotta love long island

Yea i had school til 8pm it was a horrible ride home. ppl skid out everywhere.

yeah the roads were soooo bad today!!! it took me 3 hours to get home froma place thats 20-30 mins away from me.

The best snowfall I remember was in '96 and I was in 7th grade! The snow was up to my knees! We had so much snow that we didn't know what to do with it! My parents were really lucky though because that year one of my neighbors was pregnant and her husband paid to have our street plowed b/c his wife could go any day!

That really was the last best snow storm, I think. Since I work in the city now, I don't like any snow cause it delays my commute.

omg i know! FH is like a little boy when he sees snow... he whines every Christmas when there's not snow on the ground i don't think there's been a real good snow in years!

tell me about it! when i was younger i remember REAL snow falls, and the blizzard of 97? or 96? i cant remember the year. i feel bad for my sister, because she doesnt get winters like i used to when i was her age.

FH is up at Hunter mountain for a few days skiing and they got some nice snow...... I am sooo jealous lol

last time it snowed nice was last Febrayr with that huge storm... and FH was snowboarding off the roof into a big pile of snow! boys

Fh was so excited last night that it snowed...he finally got to use his new 'BOSS' plow.
He went out at 5:00 and came home at 4:30 this morning. He made mucho woot woot!
and I love the way the snow looks on everything, I must admit I was a little disappointed when I got up today and everything was washed away.

That was the one where we had like 3 straight days off right?!?! I dont think we'll ever ahve that again... I feel bad for these kids... pretty soon they wont even know what snow is anymore

which year was that HUGE storm in April?!?! i remember like 2 feet of snow in April and it was insane. my family and i went into Kmart and an hour later there was already a foot of snow on the ground lol
