WHen would I have my first fitting?

My wedding is 10/17, and my dress is in, but do I call to schedule a fitting or wait for them to call?

U can call now and schedule your first fitting about a month and a half to two months before your wedding.

I would do it right away!!! I would definitely just want to see the dress and try it on to make sure everything is as it should be!! If you wait until AUgust it'll be too late! And def try it on. My sister encountered problems iwht he rdress she could not have anticipated with teh smaple and she needed a modesty piece added among other things and those things take time. Any reputable place will not limit your fittings!

I agree go see it first and try it on, most places will let you try it on at least once before having to get any alterations done. Make sure it's exactly what you ordered and then you can start going for fittings about 8-10 weeks before the wedding.

I think I misunderstood your question. Is the bridal salon going to store the dress for you until your first fitting? I ask because I had to pick mine up and store it at home until my first fitting. So I tried it on when I went to pick it up to make sure that everything was ok. U definitely need to go try it on and see if it is ok.

If your dress is in, i would definately go see it, inspect it, try it on
BUT it is toooo early for a fitting. You can make the appt now but the fitting would probably be at the end of August

My wedding is Nov 5 and they told me to come in in August for my 1st fitting! It did come in in Feb and I already tried it and to make sure everything was ok.

My dress was in in January, and I did go inspect it, try it on, and pay the rest of it off, so thats not a problem.....and yes, they are storing it there till basically the day befolre my wedding to keep it safe and sound!!!
