One of my firends just emailed me and told me she just realized she'll have TOM at her wedding/HM. My first reaction was 'why didn't you plan around that?' and then I got thinking that most woman probably don't write out their cycles when they get a new calendar they way I do.

Re: when you booked your date...
nope.... wouldn't be able to predict that far in advance anyway
My theory is my cycle is sort of like the weather... you approximately know what it will be, but the details are something you have no power over

Re: when you booked your date...
I honestly didn't even think about it. The other day I realized maybe I ought to figure it out....

Didn't think about it at all when we booked our date.
It helps that I can move my cycle date (with birth control)

Re: when you booked your date...
I didn't even think about that when booking... but my periods are so irregular to begin with, I can't predict it at all... but I'm actually taking medicine to bring on my period at the beginning of next week so I won't have it at the end of the month.

Re: when you booked your date...
I thought everyone did. I guess I am more organized thatn I thought ! that was the 1st thing I used to narrow down dates, but I use the ring for BC so it makes tracking easy - without BC i wouldn't have a clue when it was coming

same here -- I just figured I'd move up a week or back a week with the pill -- then when I actually looked at a calendar a month or two ago I don't have to change it with the pill it'l home one week before the wedding. how's that for timing

I'm moving my cycle too....Lucky for me - we have a week between wedding and honeymoon which is just enough time for that TOM.

First thing i did was map out my PMS for Apr-June of 2007...then picked dates accordingly...hahaha...and turned out the date i picked was an important date for DH...so it was perfect!
I love being on the pill because i can do this...all vacations get planned accordingly..yeah. i am a geek!

I didn't plan it all out, but it will work out in the end to my advantage! Thank goodness!

Re: when you booked your date...
I didn't even think about it. I'm on BC so I figure if worse came to worse I could double up on packs to skip, or even take a brief break and restart so I change my cycle. But, I figured it out one day and it looks like I'm in the clear.

Same here! A few months later I figured it out and I would be 'without friend' that day but I would have definitely delayed my cycle if it was coming!

Re: when you booked your date...
No, but if I was SMART I would have Aunt Flow thinks she will be in town around our wedding night and for our honeymoon . . . so BC Pills it is!!

Re: when you booked your date...
because it took me a minute to figure out TOM
because you write out your cycle on your monthly calendar. I wish I was that organized!!!
I just skipped a cycle to get my 'TOM' early the week of my wedding. I hope it works!!!!!
