Did you pick your entire menu? Cocktail hour and all?

we were give a sample of appetizers and then a salad that they chose and a choice of 7 dinner options. Then they brought out a plate of desserts

We had the same (same hall). We had some CH food, a salad, 2 pastas, and all 7 entrees.

We did NOT pick our menu that day and will do it closer to the wedding.

no CH food; just the salad; pasta & 3 entree most popular entree choices to share & dessert to share. We weren't impressed.

We are doing our tasting 2 months before the wedding.

We did our tasting on Jan 5th. We picked the menus while, we, my ffil, fmil, and parents were there and the food was still fresh in our mind/ pallets.

We did not finalize the menu w/ CLM yet, but our wedding is still 10 months away.
