How far along were you? And what did it feel like? I know it's hard to describe but anything would probably help at this point.
I had a Dr appt this week and I asked if it was possible that I was feeling the baby move yet and he said 'No, 19 weeks'. But I could swear I feel a *little* something... sometimes it feels like muscle spasms, sometimes a little wiggly, sometimes like gas (sorry if TMI)!
It could be wishful thinking, I know, but it seems to be getting more definite and more frequent. Maybe it's just my uterus stretching???
I'm only 16 weeks... what do you think?

Re: When you first felt the baby move...
NOT everybody starts at 19 weeks....I know for sure my was kicking by 17 weeks and as far as your feelings go (muscle spamas and GAS (TMI!! ) I would say your on the money! thats exactly what it felt like for me (gas lol) and if i could of thought of muscle spasm as a description that would of been perfect!
SO i would say CONGRATULATIONS!! isnt it AMAZING!
Also, my friend gave me a tip, lie down on your back and put a coffe saucer plate on your belly (right on top of your belly button or lower) and watch it MOVE!!!! then you will know for sure your peanut is moving! and thattttttttttt is soo neat to watch and a good way for DH to see before he can start feeling it. My dh was able to feel our darling around 19-20 weeks and now she's always moving its so hard to NOT notice!
Congrats Again!!!

I felt mine at 20 weeks..It is the best feeling in the world..It gets a lot worst as you go..It feels like a little flutter in your stomach..then when they get bigger , it just is amazing to actually almost feel the baby flipping

Re: When you first felt the baby move...
With my son I didn't know I was feeling him moving until almost 20 weeks, this time I felt the baby moving much earlier, around 15 weeks or so I think, I just knew what I was feeling the second time. It's like a little fluttering feeling - just wait till the big kicks start in!!

Re: When you first felt the baby move...
I know many peopel felt their baby earlier than 19 weeks. I felt the first ping/kick that I knew for sure at about 18/19 weeks. Before that I would feel all these fluttery, different feelings but I was never 100% sure it was the baby. I was like is it the baby or is it gas or stretching or what?

Re: When you first felt the baby move...
I felt my baby around week 16, my doctor said I could very well be feeling the baby around this time even before. Its def like gas bubbles. They also say that the thinner you were the earlier you might feel this. I was very thin to start out so I attrubute the early sensations to that.

Re: When you first felt the baby move...
I felt what I thought was the baby moving around 16 weeks too, but I wasn't sure. But by week 18 there was definite movement and looking back, I was feeling it around week 16. So you are probably feeling your little one swimming around in there. Congratulations!!!! It will take a few more weeks before DH can feel it. I think mine felt it around week 23 or so.
