We have only looked at a few other places but so far its deff the best . We fell in love with the East Wind when we went to a wedding there at the Inn for my cousin. When we went to see it and saw the Estate we really fell in love with it and didn't even want to look anywhere else.

Their were a lot of RH I've seen pic's of and when I actually went to see them in person I was like OK did I look at a different website?. When FH and I saw our RH we both couldn't stop saying WOW and plus the room I was shown first was the one that I got.

when I decided on my RH it was by accident and I really felt like it was a message sent from my dad through his friend .. I wasnt going to even go to Russo's because I thought that was what I wanted when I was young and now I should look out in places I have never been to but my dad's friend said Dina just go talk to Frankie it wont hurt maybe he can help you out with something ... and when I went in I felt at home and this wonderful feeling of being so comfortable there and treated so well I said I have to have it here ... I didnt feel like that anywhere else even in my runner up RH!

FH and I looked at alot of venues. Their are more that I would look at this coming week. (10 more). Fh really fell in love with WM. But, of course me being the person I am. I need to go and look some more just to turn around and say WM is the choice. Silly I know!

You will get a feeling. Same feeling you might get when finding the right dress.

We looked at 1 and booked it just about when we walked in the front door. We knew we wanted to get married at Trumpets...the restaurant is our favorite and when they build the catering hall we knew that is where we wanted it....a bit pricey, I was getting it no matter what!!

Keep looking you will find your place. If it is a smaller wedding...max 119 check out www.trumpetsatthegate,com

We had gone to a wedding at our reception hall 6 months before we got engaged. I absolutely loved it and told FH that when we are ready to look I would like to come here and speak with them. After we got engaged, we went to look at some other places but nothing was comparing to what we liked at the Sand Castle. Finally, we went to the Sand Castle and fell in love with it all over again. I think you will definitely know when you are in the right RH for the both of you. Have fun! We had such a great time going to the different halls.

I walked out crying from our RH when we went to look, you should have some kind of feeling. WCC looked so beautiful it was decorated for the holidays we went back a few days later for a tasting and booked.
Even when we went to meet with Thomas Paul for photo I had the same feeling like I had with WCC so I knew we had to use him for photo.

Re: When you found your.....

I looked at 30 RH's when I was searching for my dream location...For us it was soooo difficult because we have such a limited budget and small guest list. We knew that we wanted a catering hall and not a restaurant, you seem to get so much more for your money at a catering hall. We also needed someplace that had a beautiful ceremony location. I was dead set about not getting married in my reception room. I originally wanted an outdoor ceremony with nice gardens but now we are using the indoor chapel at Leonard's, much nicer than their outdoor location and now I don't have to worry about the weather. When we went to Leonard's the first time (about a year ago) we liked it but it wasn't OMG I have to get married here..We actually liked Westbury Manor and Larkfield Manor better. Then we decided that we were getting married in Jamaica and had that all planned for a while....Then we finally made up our minds to have our wedding here. We knew from looking around previously what our top picks were and decided to revisit them before making our final decision. When we went back to Larkfield, they changed the outdoor ceremony location and for some reason I just didn't like it as much as before. I also was really concerned about the distance and the price was more than we were looking to spend for a Sunday afternoon. Then we went back to Westbury Manor and the also changed the ceremony area for those of us with smaller parties. You know get a patch of grass towards the back, not the beautiful outdoor location with the brick aisle. Also FH's aunt is in a wheelchair and our room is up 2 flights of stairs...they said they could carry her up but I'm not comfortable with that (she's a big woman) and agan it was kinda pricey for us for a Sunday afternoon. Then we we back to Leonard's... Antonio was great. They gave us the best price of all the places we looked at. Now we could afford a Sunday evening for less than the price of a Sunday afternoon at the other places we looked at. The location was perfect considering most of our guests are coming from Queens and the Bronx and he even threw in a few extras for us. We feel that Leonard's was definately the best choice for us. At first I thought the place was a little TOO much...italian marble, crystal chandaliers but now I love it! I was also concerned about too many parties at once but so many people have wrote reviews that they felt like the only bride there. So let me stop rambling and just say that no RH made me cry or stun me where I knew I had to have my wedding there...It all came down to budget, location, ceremony area, and where I feel I got the most for my money....Good luck with your search!! If you have any questions about a specific place feel free to FM me. I've been to 30 places chances are I might have looked there
