When you get an invitation do you call the couple to let them know you received it and tell them how nice it is?
Someone was a little upset with my FH and I for not making that call.
I didnt know this was a must.

Sounds weird... Unless the person is a VERY close friend, with whom I would be speaking to that often, I never call to let them know I got their invite.

i never call. i think that they were a little extra for wanting a phone call. honestly i keep the invite up until the wedding day and then throw it away. am i bad?

we have never called - if we saw them, we would mention we got it but never specifically just to tell them - it was done more in passing - and by doing that wouldn't it negate the whole idea of rsvp-ing?
