SEND A THANK YOU OUT RIGHT AWAY

OR

WAIT FOR THE WEDDING THANK YOU CARDS??

I'd send them a thank you card to acknowledge that you received their gift, and then also send them your thank you with the pic

That's what I decided to do. Otherwise your guest might think you did not receive the gift.

Send a thank you now to ackowledge the receipt of the gift, but then when you get thank you cards - send them another thank you with your wedding photo included.

We sent them a general thank you to let them know we recieved it but then sent a formal thank you after the wedding with a favor.

Funny that you should post this, because we just received a gift today, and I wrote a personal thank you....and now I know to send a formal one after the wedding. Thanks so much girls!
