I always brought the invitation, but not into the reception, I usually leave it in the car.

that's what i do
i have a huge fear that i'll read the invitation wrong and go to the wrong chuch or wedding

Usually I do bring it - although I leave it in the car once we arrive. I also keep the invitation in an album with pics from the wedding afterwards. It's actually been helpful - made it easy to eliminate invitations when we went to order ours - we avoided duplication.

usually i've thrown away the invitation by the day of the wedding. i dont' see any reason to keep or bring the invite!!

if someone is not going to let me into the party that THEY invited me to, then i would just leave. that's an extra couple hundred dollars in my pocket.

I bring it for the directions...those little cards get misplaced, so I keep it altogether, but leave it in the car.

I always do except the out envelope, I don't want my address in the car. But I bring everything else from the inner to everything. I leave it in the car though.
