they're looking into fixing the gaps and it is going to cost a crapload of money But it really needs to be done, it's not safe! Were there any school closings this morning?

Alot had delayed entry. Smithtown Central had a 2 hr...

I was watching News 12 so I only saw Suffolk.

oh are they...well until today they never bothered me, but the train doors were about to close so i had to run and of course with all the slush i slid right onto the train hahaha.

From what I saw most schools were open

Yea they had it in the paper about the gaps..

How much it was going to cost and what stations were going to be done and they also listed how big the gaps were at the stations too!!! I was amazed.. I wish I could remember where the biggest gaps were.

They are big, if someone who isn't used to the LIRR goes on the LIRR they def need to be careful...I get used to it so i know i have to either take a small hop or one long step.

Yea my one friend almost fell through if she didn't grab my hood on my sweatshirt!!! it's rediculous how big some of them are... 15 inches was at one of them I believe...... maybe 10 ... not sure... but that's HUGE

I'm finally here, I got in at 10:00. I was supposed to be in at 9:00 but I don't rush for anyone when it's snowing out. To tell you the truth the only reason I came in was because I got new snowboots for christmas and haven't gotten a chance to wear them

I can't believe how long it took this morning to scrape the ice off my windshield. I looked outside and saw it didn't look too bad out so I left at my regular time, but it took me 10 minutes to warm up my car enough to get the ice off, so I was 10 min. late to work. That's a big deal because I'm a teacher and my class was sitting there alone, waiting for me! Oops.
