my fleet mgr came and picked me up - even though my commute is about 500 yds!

I can't believe how long it took this morning to scrape the ice off my windshield. I looked outside and saw it didn't look too bad out so I left at my regular time, but it took me 10 minutes to warm up my car enough to get the ice off, so I was 10 min. late to work. That's a big deal because I'm a teacher and my class was sitting there alone, waiting for me! Oops.
I am sure the kids didn't mind hahaha
LOL they were probably sitting there doing the 5 or 10 minute rule.
Or don't they know that rule yet?!?!

hahahaha exactly...when dava mentioned that it brought back memories when we used to sit in class when the teacher was late and pray we'd get a substitute lol.
