Do you time them to arrive on the intended birthday, holiday, etc...or do you send them beforehand.
If you send them beforehand, what's your reasoning?
I TRY to send them to arrive on the date...but usually I'm cutting it really close!

Re: When you send cards...
I usually try to send them out 4 or 5 days before the 'day'

Re: When you send cards...
I send them before - if I buy a card and don't send/give it right away, I forget about it. It's terrible, I know.

Re: When you send cards...
i send them a few days before the date, just because i want the person to have it on that date. and with the usps its hard to judge, 1 day may be good, but it could take up to a week depending on where its going

Re: When you send cards...
I try to time it so it will get there 2 days early - so if the post office is slow they will still get it by the date

Yea, that's usually me too. I buy the card early almost all the time, but then for some reason, I just wait till like the day before or day of to actually get it out. I like to say I do it to make thier day last longer.

Re: When you send cards...
It depends. Birthday and anniversary cards I'll send so it gets there on the date or a day before. Holiday cards I send a couple days early. Even though it's also just one day I feel like people are celebrating remembering before and after when it's a holiday.
