we got our invites today. We went with William Arthur Letterpress invites from Lion in the Sun . still need a photographer selected favors - just need to purchase them purchase garter hair select menu select music tuxes fittings yarmulkes personalized napkins?

Unfortunately no. FI asked to get married at his church. I granted him one wish and that was it. My good friend got married there last November. Its so weird.. I would have loved to finish my Religion pics there. I have my communion, Penance, and confirmation there in front of the church. Maybe we can go there for some snap shots anyway...

August bride here...just saying hello...will post my list soon! Glad to see this thread!!! btw....im sending out invites in June...for july 11th rsvp....now im freaking out! Never thought it should be sent out earlier....thought too early meant that people would forget to respond!

we are getting married the same day, I was going to send my invites out on June 1 and have the rsvp for july 1

Well, I am so delighted to see that everyone is making progress.
Here's my bit of progress:
1. Fh and I started marriage counseling with our pastor. 2. Ordered invitations. 3. Picked out GM tux. 4. Scheduled hair and make up trials. 5. Picked out bands (putting a deposit this weekend) 6. Set up rehearsal date and time. 7. Booked saxophonist and pianist for ceremony and CH. 8. Paid in full 3 vendors!!
I think that is it for now. Still so much to do. I am working on favors now and FH tux. He is purchasing his. He said that he is too extradinaire to rent one!!

Aww...that would be so nice to have all your pictures of each level of your life...that is soooo cool. Definitely have the limo and photographer swing you over there!!

We are sending our invites in mid May because of the hotels rooms and our B list. The hotel will only hold the block until July 5 and we want to make sure that everyone has time to book there rooms.

I got my veil and Tiara yesterday from Barrons also got BM Gifts jewlery sets to match there dresses at the Tri County Flea Market
It feels good to have a few ore things out the way so now I must focus on getting:

Wow we're mailing our 1st wave of invites out the first week of May for that reason too, but also so that when we get the 'no's' we want to send out a 2nd wave to those we couldn't do on first count....anyone else doing that??

oooooooooooohhhh, good question!! Right now my numbers are at 162 pre-mail. I'm still figuring whatever the turnout, I'll order 100, and just give the extra to the singles there as dates or people at the ceremony only. hope that helped. favors are generally 1/2 your total # of attending b/c of coupling.

I ordered and recieved my favors already. We did it early because we were wrapping them our selves and because I am a teacher and I have been doing these things on my rando days off.++++Our invit+es are being sent out June 4 and the RSVP says July 9.

Thanks for the input! We got a fax copy of our proof yesterday. I cannot believe how quickly they got it to us. I went to the store to check them out b/c I could not tell if the problem was my fax or the original. The numbers on the addresses were so small even the owner of the store could not believe that they did not fix them. So she requested a new proof free of charge. We should have it by this weekend and if I approve then the invites will be completed within 2 weeks of my approval. It feels so real!!!

Hmm, I know I have to get favors. my stuff for under the dress. Book the honeymoon (which i refuse to do until I have a job) Tuxes Address envelopes, etc. I can't remember, I'm sure there's a whole bunch more to do, but I can't remember
