I really like MurMur in the Borgata. We went there as the after party for my friend's engagement party. DJ AM was actually spinning which was great but the place is more lounge-y than Mixx. There are a lot of tables around the outside and a dance floor in the middle. We got 2 tables because we had a big crowd and the staff was so friendly, sweet, and accommodating. We had such a great time. I was dancing alll night! (sometimes even by myself lol)

To be honest, I've only been to Mixx and MurMur and the Borgata but I've had a good time at both.

I am not sure the specifics because I didn't set it up but I don't think you have to reserve a table to go. We just did because there were so many of us and we wanted a 'home base'. I think if you do reserve a table, you need a certain amount of bottles based on how many people are at the table which usually equates to about the same amount of money you'd be spending anyway but you don't have to wait on line at the bar (which is a huge plus). I think we had about 20 people and had to get 4 bottles but we wound up getting 5 lol. They probably require 1 bottle for every 4 or 5 people. If it's $300 a bottle for 5 people, it's only about $60 a person which isn't too bad. Call them up to get the specifics... I didn't set it up so I'm not 100% sure.
We had such a great time... the music was great, it's not as overwhelming and 'cluby' as Mixx. I've been to the Mixx as well and I had a good time there too.

November 6th, 2009... The Royalton! The web-site so doesn't do it justice! After going to like 11 locations and feeling soooo discourage... we came across The Royalton. I wanted to cry the second I walked in because I knew I found the perfect place I was looking for! Now we can't wait!!!!!

aslo what kind of piece are you thinking of doing for the foyer.

I saw my samples but still want more I wasn't 100% happy, waiting for my dress to come in before I go back so we can work on bouquets as well.

Finalized my honeymoon today..got my airfare for free between parents giving me vouchers they weren't using and my frequent flyer miles..saved $1,200.

Going for invites next week. Found a great place I'm so happy with. Booking our appointment for next Thurs to order them.

Next up is hair/makeup

omg it all sounds amazing. sorry to hear taht you didnt like your samples. i remember you saying that awhile back. maybe you or s&p will come up with something else, but i really like your cp's and thing that they are gorg!

mmm when d o you think your dress will be ocming in? i cant wait to see mine again, i havent seen it in forever, but i dont want to go back until mine is in.

where are you going on your hm? fh and i have been saving our amex points so we can use them towards miles.

please post pics of your invites (well whatever you choose) and hair whenever you get it done. curly or wavy what are you doing with it?

Who are you working with a S&P stacey?? If u can go on Sunday and ask to meet with gary....he is amazing and super patient and will make u exactly what u want!!!!!!
