I got my dress at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa because my mom's friend works there. When I tried on dresses, she was putting veils and jewelry on me and even handed me a bouquet of fake white flowers lol.

yea i love them and hate to see all the negative reviews.... cupid did i ever send u the template for the menu?? also who works at massapequa i absolutely adore the woman who helped me find my dress and the seamstress is amazing!!! i also did my BM dresses there and they work with you n pricing if u bought your dress there...

She normally works in the Mother of the Bride sections but she helped me find my dress. I went to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa last weekend to get bridesmaid dresses for my maid of honor's wedding (4 months before me!) and they were fantastic. I've had nothing but a good experience there so far.
When did everyone meet with the Royalton to decide on their menu? We did our tasting already which was FANTASTIC!

ok i worked with marylou for bridal and heather for BM....i love them both.... cupid i sent u the menu template... i did my tasting in early oct and that same night i picked out my entire menu from CH to dessert... You can FM me with any questions u may have.. im getting nervous with 30 days to go.... Abby :)

Wow, you did your tasting already for next October. I'm getting married in June and figured I would do my tasting in March or April
Abby how did you even know where to begin with CH? Were there any interesting suggestions?
What about the Viennese table? Do you get to pick all that as well?

Stacey First u tell Gerard your must haves and must have nots....then we started discussing passed around options where we came up with around 12-15 and he said he will surprise us with some others..then we picked out our stations and what went with each station....i am doing an around the world theme with different types of food at each station...mexican, chinese, meats, etc... As far as dessert i am not doing a vienesse table i am doing the 3 plated dessert...i dont think it is neccessary to do a viennese on a sunday night so i have 3 desserts along with wedding cake and then a pastry selection with choc covered strawberries on each table (those were a must have)...but if u are doing one u can suggest but i believe they have the standard stuff for viennesse.... everything was soooo yummy!!!!!!! I cant wait....

When we signed the contract, Mike said we could come back the next week and do the tasting and if we didn't like it, we could cancel within 2 weeks. It was amazing.
I think the around the world station idea is great!

Wow.. you all are so on top of everything I am starting to wonder if I need to be thinking about food and menus and all that fun stuff now. Does anyone else find themselves tempted to drive passed the Royalton everday? Fortunately I dont drive during the week.
It is so nice to have this chat going on. So much more fun to get thinking about details from these convos.

Hey Ker Allegra and the rest of my Royalton ladies..... I have 27 days and counting,,,,today i met with Spitz and Peck yo finalize and the l;ist has now officially shrunk to only 4 items left to do...i picked up my wedding bands yesterday and did my e-shoot finally!!!! kee p u posted as more gets done....oh and i finally spoke with the baker,,,hes awesome!!! Ab :)

hahah u are all very funny...im down to making tables ordering place cards doing tuxedos for the boys....going to AC this weekend from Sat to Sun for my Bach party!!! Any ideas of what to do for nightlife there is good hellp I havent been there in ages!!!

outside....It may be chilly...we have 8oclock diner reservations and then i have to let them know where i wanna go...i dont know i just really wanna chill and gamble... does anyone know any good night clubs...oh my god i sound sooo old when i say night clubs...hahhahahaha
