Ok So I went thru all of the posts and remembered what i wanted to say...

- Hated Zombie Nation...did and still do!
- 100% having house songs at the wedding!! BOth FH and I were like Denise's FH at SF every weekend! We didnt know each other then but we both loved clubs and house music... and still do!
- I DOOO remember the videos of the girl kicking the guy in the area!!
- Does anyone remember the guy at SF in the space-ish suit and he had a big mask and light sabers???
- Or do you rememeber the icepops or fruit bowls?
- For those that fell on the stairs... dont worry, no one knew...everyone was all messed up that sat over there!
- Final Chapter is soooooo being pumped at my wedding.. along with Luz Divina and many others
- I always wanted to do Palladium but I was way too young at the time...
My first club was tunnel in 96, then I was frequenting carbon (old exit), more tunnel, limelight, SF, and Twilo (some people will look at all this and judge but this was such a fun time in my PAST...I wouldnt trade it for the world!)
- Tunnels Bathrooms were gross and the last time I ventured to tunnel was when I spotted a needle on the ground in the bathroom...it freaked me out. However I do miss the furry room!!
- Love Paris BUT LOVE Vivacious!!

I could rant forever but its nice to see some girls on here who were part of the family of SF

I was a WMCer from 2000-2004. What great times, but I had to take a break.

The scene was an incredible experience for me and a life-changing time BUT I am so glad to no longer be involved in it. It was too taxing on me, physically, mentally and emotionally.

Youre not thinking of Chaos are you? If so, I had some good times in there!

Of course, SF was like a second home. I remember having bronchitis and STILL going out to SF because I couldnt miss a Saturday night!

Oh and Jenn, btw, I never fell down the stairs at SF BUT, one night, when the bleachers were still installed on the main dance floor I was wearing a skin tight, one shoulder snake-print dress (I know...TACK-AY!!) and there I was busting a move, thinking I was SOOO cool when my should strap moved and suddenly OUT come my boob!!!! I was like OMG!!! My friend was like...OH PLEASE dont worry--most people are so messed up in here they probably think they are imagining that they just saw your boob.

I was all about the Soundfactory, Exit and the Tunnel....I feel so old. I used to tell my mom i was sleeping at a friends house and walk out of the Factory at 10am sunday mornings.

the latest i ever walked out was like 8am i believe... my parents always used to say 'how the hell can you stay up that late?!?!'

i hated walking out into sunlight... ugh like a freakin vampire inside the clubs and loved every min of it

You know how many people I know of who are ****** up TODAY in 2008 from the E and K they did in the NYC clubs back in the late 90's, early 2000's..... I know this one kid, (well hes a man now), that was a friend of my boyfriend at the time who used to go to Exit, Tunnel and SF with us, and he, like everyone else it seemed, was smoking weed AND taking E all the time when they would go.

Anyway, I found out through the grapevine that he now has schitzophrenia (spelling?) and the doctors say it is from all the E and other drugs he took when he was in his late teens , early 20's. This kid was incredibly outgoing, popular, outspoken. would hit up SF every Saturday night....and today....he is in a 'special home' b/c he cant function in real society. it is so sad. The doctors are saying its more common then people think for something like that to happen, and like Denise said....some people wont see the effects until they are middle-aged.

Sorry to be a downer but I just wanted to say that for all those who watched the SF video with the kids back then implying it was so cool and no problem to be actively involved in the drug scene every week at that time. I was one of the few (and I mean few, lol) who DIDNT take E, K or even smoke weed for the most part, so I saw the other side of it when I was in the clubs....watching my friends having the best time but man it aged them by them time they were all done with that scene....f-ed some of them up!

I did WMC also... 05 -with my girls 06, 07 - with FH and we were a lil bummed that we were missing it this year but at the end of the day i was like getting married or go to WMC... needless to say I am VERY happy with my choice

The door people always seemed to give me a prob at exit.... and i didnt like it just for that reason... i always got a good workout there though... way too big of a space which somehow could always get packed out.... i also remember them having THE worst pat downs... it felt like you were being molested...

omg yes we had to take off our shoes and everything my FH told me they touched their goods lol i remember they got my friend with something and they took him to the back took his pic and made him sign stuff but let him go because they said what he had was fake lol ahhh so scary

Hahaha I know someone that would hide jars in a certain crevice... and still not sure how, but it was found on him..... I dont even wanna know how violated he was in that back room... My friends bf got caught with stuff and they took him to 'the room' too and my friend was scared sh*tless thinkin they were beatin the crap outta him (which i mean, was very possible) but he survived...

Aww! It'll bring back great mems, but the scene has changed soooo much that its like you're glad to be back, but then you feel like you dont fit in anymore!

i wasnt into the club scene, but the Rave scene back then

i went to tunnel alot, and exit and limelight for a bunch of raves, my ex was really into techno and acid techno

My stomache is in knots just reading these posts...brings back alot of memories, and it seems like another lifetime ago.

eta; anyone go to raves? key skate in bronx, the quarry?
any boo's? or 420 parties?
I miss the dj's sometimes i am tempted to go to a rave again
