Where are my RSVP's?

I have only 2 days left until my RSVP date and 120 people still have to respond! I'm so nervous because from my calculations we're gonna be about 35 people below my minimum...if people would just answer back then I'd be able to know for sure. I have a feeling my mom and FMIL are gonna be busy on the phone this weekend tracking all these people down. We stamped and addressed the envelope for them...what does it take to check off a little box with a YES or a NO and put it in the mailbox?

Hunny wish I could tell you, you're the only soul out there with this issue....I feel for you! I was calling people 2 days before my wedding and over 20 people didn't show! But you know what, it doesn't matter at the end because you're gonna have an amazing day no matter what!!!!!!!

I made my RSVP date a week earlier than it needed to be to try to alleviate this problem . . . I hope it works. Otherwise our moms will be busy.

My RSVP date is also the 1st and i need 14 more responses. I would be happy if they were all no b/c then i would be right at my minimum.

my deadline has been past a week now and Im still waiting for 3 more responses. I received nothing on saturday or tuesday but did get 2 today, and Im still getting yes responds

You would think that all these people would want to be nice and TAKE AWAY from the stress of a wedding....not ADD to IT!!!

It's weird because in the beginning we were getting like 10 a day and the POOF!.....they just stopped coming!!!

Ugh...I really don't want to make phone calls!

yes give them a few days after the deadline...i got alot of responses towards the end

o man me too---i thought it was just my family and friends who were lazy...ahahha...175 yes still waiting on the other 100 or so....deadline tomorrow!!!!!!!

my wedding is in 2 weeks... and am still missing about 15 RSVP's.. my motto you don't have the time to write your name on a little piece of paper or check off a box put it in an already addressed and stamped envelope you don't deserve the right to spend the 6 hours and celebrate with fh and I.. so people who didn't have time to respond or answer a phone call or return a message don't deserve the time with fh and I and the people who had the time to write their name on a card and put it in the mail and there won't be a chair at the rh for them b/c they are being counted as a BIG FAT NO.

People (somehow) dont know how much we plan around timelines and dates...

You will prob receive like 10-20 responses all at once ... thats what happened to me!! Just wait one week after the response date, and then start calling. Alot of ppl decide that they are going, and forgot that they didnt respond!!

I still have abt 4 more responses Im waiting for ... and my response date was last week.

My advise is 'Hang in there', its a roller coaster ride with RSVP's, dont know what happened to this world with people doing the right thing. All it takes is a check yes or no, and they pop it in the prepaid envelope. Sorry your stressing, but this will probably be the hardest part of your wedding planning, you will get through it, we all did, just be sure to keep on top of all the people and wait until the day after the RSVP date, then just start calling people. Everything will turn out fine, dont worry.....
