Maybe it's b/c your RSVP date is so far before the wedding? My wedding is 2 weeks after yours and we're not even sending out invitations until March 21, with a May 1 RSVP date....perhaps people aren't used to such an early RSVP date!
(granted, still no excuse!)
I was just gonna say this. I think people have it in their head that since your wedding is still pretty far away that the rsvp can't possibly be due yet.

My invites will be going out Monday and my response date is April 1st...I hope my guests will be kind and send them back on time!!!

wow u made the RSVP that early? i feel better now lol i just sent all my invites out int he last 2 weeks...i put April 18th as the RSVP. I already started getting some back!

wow... my invites are going OUT next week...
i don't think people actually read... they probably figured they had a lot of time. But at least you have a lot of time before the wedding to hunt these people down!
