there is one week left for my RSVPS to come in and we still have 126 out there...did any past brides find that people aren't sending theirs back on time?..im guessing i have alot of phone calls to make

126 seems like alot. But you never know they could all com ein one day. Don't worry about it untill the day after the RSVP date. Hopefully they all send them very soon

Ugh, I could post about this topic all day! WHAT in the world makes people take so long??? Nobody should need more than a month or even more than a couple of weeks, IMO to send a response. You're either free or you're not! What is the problem!!
That being said, my invites just went out on Wednesday so I'm sure I'll be posting about this in no time!! Good luck getting yours back!!

I'm still waiting on some and my RSVP was 2/15 and my wedding is now in 2 weeks. People are truly mind-boggling.

Maybe it's b/c your RSVP date is so far before the wedding? My wedding is 2 weeks after yours and we're not even sending out invitations until March 21, with a May 1 RSVP date....perhaps people aren't used to such an early RSVP date!
(granted, still no excuse!)

OMG, I totally know how you all feel. Its been two weeks and we only got back a handful. FH decided to email his friends to make sure they got them and a bunch came back with the reply...'oh you know we're coming, so why do we have to send it back?' WTH right?? we're not mind readers, we aren't going to assume you're coming until you tell us!! FH got on their case and they have all promised to put their RSVPs in the mail by this weekend!

I was gonna say the same thing. It seems kind of early so maybe thats why. I sent mine out early (middle of November for my Feb. 2 wedding) A few people actually told me, Oh I didnt realize we had to RSVP so early! Sometimes people dont READ!

i was missing 4 couples when all was said and done. Many people sent the rsvp back the last week of my due date.

126 people or card(invite)? ...i had quite a few people that didn't respond. i had to make phone calls. through the phone calls, i also found out from some people that they had send it but i never recieved it

I agree, some people just don't read and figure, her wedding isn't until mid May so I have time! I want to send my invites out early too, hoping to get them out by the end of March with a May 10th rsvp date, and I can totally see this happening to me! Hopefully you will get a bunch in the next week.

If your wedding is in May, you have plenty of time for the RSVPS.. my due date was 2 weeks before my wedding...
and i still had over 50 missing.
give it another 2 weeks and then start making phone calls.

My RSVP date was Wednesday. I am missing 20 RSVPs. 2 are my brothers 1 is my MOH. I am not really expecting these, but the others I guess they figure that the RSVP date is just a guide, not necessairly a rule...

I think we are going to send ours out a little on the early side (RSVP date 1 month before, invites sent 2 months before that) because we have a lot of OOTers, and some are people we didn't send STDs. We didn't send our OOT guide to those who didn't get STDs because we thought that would be weird, so we want to make sure those people have time to book travel plans.

we sent ours out so early because we have a 'B' list and we didnt want anyone to feel like 'oh thats great we have like 3 weeks to RSVP' we have invited with a April 27th RSVP date for the 'B' listers
