Queens girl born and raised!!! Grew up in Jamaica-moved to Glendale at 16yrs old have been here since. Will stay in Queens for a while after I get married, Bayside

Seems like lots of people move around Queens, but not out of Queens, hee hee.

I was born in Astoria, raised for a couple of years in Woodside, then Glendale for a few years...then my parents thought it'd be a good idea to move to Florida...nine months later they realized it wasn't for them, so we moved back to Woodside, then on to Maspeth, then back to Glendale. Then my parents decided to move back to Florida so I moved to Middle Village and that didn't work out, so I moved to Forest Hills, where I've been for almost 5 years.

Sigh.

I didn't live in FH for my high school years...my zoned school was Lane and I totally would've gotten my @ss kicked there because I was this little punk kid with multi-colored hair and Jncos.

I went to H.S. for Environmental Studies in Manhattan with all the other freaks and fit in just fiiiine.

I grew up in Queens, live on LI now and hopefully (fingers crossed) we're waiting to hear if we're moving to Maspeth!

FH has lived all around Queens his whole life - Jackson Heights, Woodside, and now live in Woodhaven.

I was zoned for Lane too... a friend of the family let us use their address so we were able to go to FHHS... three went there and 2 went to Francis Lewis...

I grew up in Ozone Park and I just noticed you're getting married at SMGH - so am I! That was my church growing up, I went to school there too.
