Where are the april 2003 brides?

How is it going ladies? Are wedding are approaching. What are you all working on right now? I am thinking about shoes, choosing music for ceremony, and choosing my cake! Hope all planning is going well!

Hi!! I still have alot to do!!! My wedding is April 4th. I going to have to get my booty moving after the new year. I still need readings, rings, FG dresses....and a bunch of little things!!

Well it's coming fast isn't it ladies??? I can't believe it! Right now we are deciding about florist... and trying to pay off some of the vendors...honeymoon has a big chunk due in Feb!!! I have to pick readings and music... and need to plan our partying before the wedding (bachelor/bachelorette party combined)... have to have hair trial and find someone to do makeup! When are you getting first fitting? I have no concept of that! Still need a veil.. any suggestions? Hope everyone's planning is going good! Only about 3 months to go! SCARY! :)

I can't beleive how fast the time is going!! I haven't made my appointment for my first fitting yet. My gown has been in since mid November!! I want to go , but I can't find shoes that I like and I still need undergarments.
I am starting to stress out again!!!! Everytime I talk about what's left to do....I PANIC!!!! I know it will all work out, but I need to get going on this stuff.

I think I am OK. Major things left: Rehearsal Dinner, Minor: Loose ends, hair/make-up trial, veil. Only problem is my dress!!! The time is really flying now!

When are you all going for your first fitting? Are you wearing a petticoat under your gowns? I dont even know if my gown is in yet, or my veil and headpiece for that matter! I wish Burtons would call me! Where are you all going for shoes?

Long story short....my dress was suppose to be in in August, just came in last week..and it is the WRONG dress. So now they promise that it will be here in 3 weeks. Hopefully this is true, manufacturer said they will call the dress shop but couldn't tell me anything! If it comes in soon I plan on my first fitting to be the first week of Feb!

I'm doing ok, I think! I need to work on the rehearsal dinner and the honeymoon (not sure what we can afford as we just bought our first home!). Then there are smaller things (readings, wedding bands, etc.). I think the BM dresses just came in so hopefully all is fine with them. I have to check on my dress too. Oh yeah, my mother's dress just came it! Thinking about planning is too stressful with fixing up the house and moving. Thank goodness FH and I have this week and 1/2 off.

Hi ladies! I've been absent from the board for a while because I had to get another job and have been swamped with two jobs, planning a wedding and the holidays! I've managed to keep pretty much on track though. I have to check,but I think my dress should be in this month, I just booked the rehersal dinner and the tuxedos and picked out a florist. We got our invites, now I have to start working on favors, programs, my veil and getting a hair and makeup trial. I can't wait till the holidays are over, I'm a little stressed right now! Hope all is well with everyone's planning!

Hey Ladies, Happy Holidays. Been out for a little while.
April 13 and we have tons left to do. We just booked our site and date the day after Thanksgiving!!! We just wanted to do it, but now i am FREAKING OUT!!
We just booked invites, since those MUST be out soon. Today we are seeing two DJs and a photographer and videographer. then BM dress and veil shopping with my MOH! tomorrow a florist, Imagine Studios (yeah!), a jeweler and more BM dress shopping!!
then another florist on Sat.
we have a lot to do, but i am getting so excited! Hooray, it is getting so close.
(I hope this makes you feel less stressed since all of you have WAY more done than us!!) Don't worry, it will all get done and work out great!

Just wanted to give an update. Today we filled out our paperwork for our officiant (FINALLY), we decided what we are giving the groomsmen (flasks, and a putter for the BM), we also picked up passport paperwork (incase we go on our honeymoon), we also made an appt with our baker. Oh, and I made a hair trial appt. So nothing was accomplished, but made some headway. Hope your planning is going well! Oh, what are all your april wedding dates? Just curious?

My wedding date is 4/12/03 (which is also our 7 year anniversary)!

Christy, I know how you feel about the honeymoon. FH and I haven't even booked anything b/c we are afraid we can't afford it. Between wedding expenses and buying our first home a couple weeks ago, everything is just so expensive! We've priced out some things and figure we may not be able to go on the honeymoon of our dreams (which isn't that expensive in comparison to many honeymoons) but we should be able to go somewhere nice. We may be able to use the wedding money to make up the difference we can't cover. How is it going for you?

Have the April brides planned their honeymoons yet? Where are you going? For how long? I'd love to hear!

We actually booked ours pretty early..we got a great deal from National Discount Cruise (ask for Cliff, he's great) a few people in my family have used them and no problems! We are taking the Princess cruise ship the Grand Princess for a week to the Western Caribbean...goes to Grand Caymen, Cozumel, Princess Cays (private island in the Bahamas) and someplace else I forget :) We are flying Jet Blue which I can't wait, looks great! The whole thing was like 2,500? I think! If anyone needs the number I think they have a website or feel free to forum mail me!

I think I am on schedule - I have to get a slip for dress, shoes, veil headpiece, tux, unity candle&holder, guest book, gifts for BM, ring for FH, table cameras, gift for FH, music for ceremony.

I am currently working on the music for CD favors and invitations

April here too - OMG fell BEHIND!!! Have to do invitations & favors.

Honeymoon I think is not going to happen. We were plannign on a cruise and now with the virus thing he doesn't want to do that. He deosnt want to go to Europe (travels on business every 6 weeks or so). He doesn;t want to sit on a beach and fry. I keep saying we're going to Roslyn for our honeymoon and that's it!

Oh and we need more hotels so far just Inn @ Fox Hollow, but I need a more reasonable priced hotel

Need hair and makeup person.

Need to other things - unity candle, RB pillow, etc.

Guys need to get tuxes.

I know I am forgetting loads......I am scattered today!

when are your guys going for tuxes? Also, what kind of slips are you wearing under your dresss? I bought a petticoat hoopskirt thing? Is that what you are wearing?
