Where are you and hubby sitting at the reception?

curious..

will you be sitting at a 'head table' with your bridal party or
at a 'sweetheart' table with just the two of you .. or
at a table with only a other few people and if so.. who?

I really like the thought of sitting at a sweetheart table.. then the bridal party can sit with whomever they like.. esp if they have sig others that are not in the party itself.
Was also thinking maybe of sitting at a regular round with our closest friends and my sister.

At my first wedding we did the head table and I didnt like it. I felt like we were constantly on display and couldnt be social. Like we had to sit there all night for everyone to come up to and talk with.
Plus.. we were at a long table and werent able to chat and be social with each other. Wont be doing that again!

What are y'all doing?

we sat at a sweetheart table-although we barely sat at all
BMs and GM sat with dates and other mutual friends

parents were on each side of us

we will be sitting alone. just the two of us.

we are going to seat the bridal party with their dates.

Sweetheart table. To our right will be a table with our BP and their dates, and to our left will be a table of other very close friends and their dates.

We're sitting at a head table...not with the BP but with both sets of parents... thats how they do it in Austria (where we're getting married).

sweatheat table...i went to a wedding where they had the long table and FH was a groomsmen and i HATED not being able to sit next to him..so i def wont be doing that

we had a sweetheart table with our bridal parties on both sides of us at separate tables (so they could sit with their spouses/SO's)

Sweetheart table....families on the sides of us rather than bridal party!
