Where are you from??

A conversation was started on another post and I thought it might be interesting to just have a post for it!

I have been chatting with some of you lovely ladies and have learned that several of you are like me which is not borned and raised in NY.

I am from IL and came to NY for an internship at HKNC. I met my FH online after living here for a year! Now my perm. address is NY!

So, where are you from?

Born in West Virigina
move around a few times when I was younger
moved to NY when I was 10, been here ever since

FH was born and raised here

I was born in Brooklyn, moved to Manhattan when I was 4 (I'm a city brat!). Went to college for 4 years in Boston and came running back to NYC. Met my Fh and we now live in Queens, NY!!! Also I work in the bronx so I am 4/5 NYC boro girl!

Born in Astoria, Queens moved to New Hyde Park when I was 7, been on LI ever since! Both of my parents were raised in NHP too and I actually bought my grandmother's house. So, I live in the house that my father was raised in! It has been in our family since the 1940's.
I work in Astoria with my dad.

Born in the Dominican Republic
Moved to NY at the age of 4 and have been living in Richmond Hill, Queens ever since. I have moved 3 times but everytime its only a matter of blocks! lol
