I have given up looking for a dominican cake bakery. :(
So Ladies please tell me where you are getting your cake? and what they quoted you. This would be a great help because i have no clue how much a wedding cake is going to cost now!!!

Where are you guys ordering the plain cake from? From the bakers that actually answer me, it's still been expensive!!

No Dominican cake :(
We're getting our cake from Dortoni's bakery it's part of our package but extra charge for fondant.
My cake will also be from Dortoni's! It's included in the package from my venue as well.

im making my own display cake with a cutting section which will be ten feet tall and covered in roses and crystals! and the hall is providing dessert trio. however i am thinking of upgrading to a venetian hour..

I had my cake tasting at Dortoni's!!! i like the cake but i did not like that the cake is a little moist/ wet. :( i ordered a sample cake. was less wet but still very good. I have 3 more tastings next weekend. Wedding dress diet is out the window for the next two weeks. lol

Met with Bonne Bolongarie (sister bakery of Dortoni). Tried to set up meetings w Torta Fina and Black Forest, but one rescheduled on me because they 'didn't realize' they were overbooked (bad sign to me) & the other was incredibly rude. If you want I can FM you pricing when I get home. FH also contacted fairway to see how that would price out but the contact there stopped answering us when we finally got to talk about price! Idk why I am having such bad luck with this lol
