Hi all- I am trying to figure out where to go on my honeymoon. Any suggestions? Did you/or are you using a travel agent?

We are going to Negril, Jamaica.
We initially went to a travel agent, but ended up booking almost the exact same trip on travelocity.com and saved almost $2,000!!!!

A Sandals resort, Aruba, or St. Marteen!! (We've been to St. Marteen and loved it!!)

I was just talking about this today with somebody. Fi and i had said to do tahiti, bora bora and moorea and then stop off in vegas before going home. The problem I am having though is that although tahiti is absolutely beautiful, i think we might get bored. I asked a travel agent about this and she agreed with me, no nightlife and stuff like that. Fi and i are not the type to lay out all day in the sun, we actually hate doing that, and even in the caribbean we dont do that. Ive also heard this from someone else.
My other idea is to do greece, italy and spain. He is not that thrilled about this idea, but said he would do it if its what i really want. I want him to be just as excited about the HM as i am so i wouldn't make him go anywhere. AHHH so annoying. So hopefully i'll get him lots of info and pics and he'll love it too.

we took a cruise to canada. we're not beach people, this was perfect for us: quiet, calm, and a lot of time to do 'nothing' together

I am struggling over my honeymoon too. I think I have narrowed it down to two choices... Thailand or a combo of Mexico/Costa Rica. Has anyone done this combo?
I also orginally wanted to go to Tahiti etc, but I know we would be too bored there too :) Good luck!

Good to know i am not the only one who thinks that. Hmmm I need to look up more info on tahiti and check out their activities and anything else they might have there.

going on a 5 day carnival crusie to jamaica .. and we used liberty travel .. never had a problem

I'm jealous. I wanted to do Greece but FH wanted a more tropical location. We are going to Costa Rica and we booked our trip through Memorable Costa Rica

We didn't use a travel agent. It was the only thing I could trust FH to research on his own and present me with detailed research.

Which cruise are you taking there? I wanna do italy, greece and probably spain, if we don't go to tahiti...I actually know somebody who recently did the exact same hm you are doing.

We are taking the Carnival Freedom. It's a 12 night cruise on a new ship. It starts sailing March 07. We figure we'll get more for our buck on a cruise and get to see a lot of places.
