So when you bring your dress home, where are you going ot hang it?
Are you considering putting a hook in your ceiling? That was a suggestion by my dress place.
We could just hang it on the door but I don't want it on the floor at all.
Okay so I'm worrying a little too much about it, but for real where are you hanging your dresses

At a BM's house in a spare bedroom until the night before the wedding. I will probably get it from the dress place only a couple of days before that.

On the woodwork between a door way......I guess the jam.....thankfully it is door we don't really walk though at my mothers......so I don't have to worry about it.......

I've been thinking about this and still don't know where I'm putting it
I also want a picture of my dress hanging and our doors are kinda thick so a regular hanger doesn't 'hang' off any of our doors so I think I'll just have to put a hook high up in the wall.

My dress is currently hung up on the back of a door in the spare bedroom. We put a sheet under it so we could spread the train out.

I actually picked my dress up only 2 days before the wedding, so it layed for one day in my friends car flat going through the entire car and then the night before the wedding it hung from a door frame at the hotel.
I would hold off on picking it up until the last possible moment.

Mine is hanging on the closet door frame in my old bedroom at my parents house - it isn't touching the floor

I'm hanging it from my mother's door but I'm putting a sheet underneath so it won't get dirty....although my mom has been cleaning her room like a mad woman!!!

actually mine is going right to my grandmothers house... (she is going to put my dress label that she made for my shower with a sixpence) and she has a hook in her ceiling...all her daughters and granddaughters have had there wedding dresses hung from this hook ~ it is in a room where no one goes etc...
