As far as planning goes? I feel like I am ahead and behind all at the same time if that makes sense! We booked the hall last night, I know what dress I want... NOW WHAT?! lol

you can start looking into photo/video bc they do book up far in advance. Then after that you could move onto dj/band.

We booked the package with them. We got the Limo, Photographer, & Dj.

for my April 2010 wedding:
i have my hall & church booked. i ordered my dress & i have picked out the bridesmaids dresses (will be ordering those in June). i am mailing out save the dates on monday.
i know who i am using for video, limos, & flowers just need to actually sit down with them. need to find a photographer & a band.

I think I'm pretty far along;
So far, for next november, we have: Church Hall Flowers Photo/video DOC ALMOST Gown (At least I think)

Since your hall has a package and all of your vendors are basically booked. You can try on the dress to see how it looks on you or you can book hair and makeup. There's also favors, the HM, the dresses for your BP, Registering, etc
ETA: I forgot to add where I was at
Booked: -RH -Church -Photography -Dress (All Day of accecories/attire) -Honey Moon -Makeup -And I have purchased some little things like the bridal shower thank you cards, my guest book, toasting flutes, add some of my BP's gifts.
Still have a couple of major one's to book.

We're in June of 2010 and all we have so far is the hall (which is also the same venue where the ceremony will occur).
On Friday, May 8th, there's a huge bridal expo here in Manhattan that I'm going to in hopes of scoping out some photographers and DJs. Oh, and florists...though we're not using flowers for anything but the bouquets.
I'll probably start looking at STD's soon too...
And I haven't even thought of a color theme or a dress yet. I'm playing around with ideas in my mind, but that's it.

ok we registered, We don't need a church because it is an interfaith ceremony so we are having it at the hall.
Gotta book the Florist Gotta find dresses for my girls I am torn if I REALLY want a videography. I don't think I do. Are all of you ladies doing it? For Favors we are making a donation (still have to decide where. Either March of Dimes, St. Judes, or Make a Wish) I know what dress I want I have tried it on and its PERFECT! Do we need STD cards? I don't know anything about this stuff! My sisters wedding last year was so last minute lol. I NEED HELP!!!! haha

You have a great head start! 6-9 mts. before is recommended for booking your florist, so you have plenty of time for that, think about what you want though. Same goes for BM dresses, 6-9 mts. Start thinking abt if you really want a video, this should be done around 12 mts. in advance. You have PLENTY of time for your favors, if you're doing a donation you can do that right before your wedding. Order your dress about a year before. You don't HAVE to do STD's, but they're cute.. check out Totallymagnets.com, that's where I got mine, you can see them in my album. I think they charge about 99 cents a magnet, minimum order of 50.

I have a RH. That is it. (well and ceremony site since we're having the ceremony there...)
We had an E-party planned out, but the plans got destroyed.
So basically, nothing done!

We pretty much have all of the big vendors booked for our May 2010 wedding. The only thing left is the limo (we pretty much know who we are going with though - just trying to save money to put a good chunk of the deposit down). Also, I need to pick out the BM dresses - but other than that - we are in good shape!

there is so much but, i have actually booked all my vendors, i have my dress, shoes, and am now working on save-the-date need to set up app with photographer they will be doing them, and we have to order my BM dress, and i need $$$$ to pay everything off LOL
