Macy's and Target - we did not have an e-party - I registed 4 months before my wedding date.

Fortunoff and Linens n Things and we registered before our engagement party- it worked out well because our china went on sale for half off 3 weeks before our party and we got all 12 sets.

bed bath and beyond and prob will do fortunoff bc im hearing macys had nothing!? kinda bummed if thats true bc macys is sooo much closer!! I didnt have an e-party but i registered about 2 months ago so that be 9 months before my wedding!

The Macy's at Herald Square has EVERYTHING!!! I went to Roosevelt Field and was dissappointed. Go to 34th Street.

We registered at BBB and Fortunoff. Everything was already bought off our BBB registry, we even had several duplicates. The wedding is in July. We got a lot off of Fortunoff's and I would say 90% was ordered on the internet, you can tell because it comes with a computerized gift card. Our china had a bonus the 2 weeks before my shower for a free soup bowl and accent plate and we got 8 place settings at the shower. And its not a cheap place setting.
We registered about 1 year ahead for china, 4 months for bedding and bath stuff. We didn't have an engagement party, but got tons of engagement presents. People gave us engagement presents right away. We got engaged in mid December and go all of our presents for Christmas so it wouldn't have mattered if we had registered.

We registered at Macy's already for our 'fine china' since his mother wanted to get us place settings for our e-party...which is July 8th.
After the e-party, we will be registering at Kohls and Williams Sonoma also.

I did it after the e-party. I wanted the money so that I could use it for down payments on stuff but some people did give me gifts. I registerd at Fortunoff & Bed Bath and Beyond

Do you think it's OK to register at Lowe's?? We didn't have an e-party and we already have the house, the toasters, the blenders...but we could really use wooden blinds, a storm door, closet organizers, etc. Is that cheesey?
