we started a registry in the late fall bc people wanted to get us stuff for our place for christmas, so we thought it'd be a good opportunity to take advantage of the rewards program and also test them out.
my complaints: items constantly fluctuate in price, so if it's not on sale, your guests will pay 30% more for the exact same item compared to BBB; their stock is scarce in a lot of stores, so if your guest doesn't go into herald sq. or whatever to buy your present, they will prob spend hours roaming for a match like my family did; my mom waited 6 weeks for the wrong china to be delivered, and they wanted to make her wait another 6 weeks to get the right stuff (she returned it and went to BBB, who had it in-stock); aside from one gift, nothing was scanned on the registry, so we didn't even get the benefit of the rewards program; lastly, people complained to me about how impossible it was to get someone to help them print/navigate the registry, and i had a similar experience when i went to add china pieces.

Thank you for this... It isnt the first time ive heard stories on here so i was wondering... I love them but I dont think ill be using them now

BBB...I have a small one with Linens and Things cause I heard they're going out of buisness and I have a small one with Target as well. I know all the stuff people say about Target so I was thinking of making my reg into a wish list and have the girls put registered at BBB but, Target girft cards are good as well. But well see.

Target baby!!!!!! But it was done after a few beers one night for sh*ts and giggles waaay back, i think I only put 5 things on it.

I did fortunoff & BBB ... and let me tell you I was soooo suprised at that BBB was extremely helpful!! I love Joe from the BBB on Northern Blvd in Manhassett we were there for 3 hours he walked with us around to everything and helped us choose the best things for us. Also its good for your guests because they can use the 20% off coupons on everything even your china! Fortunoff being so expensive handed us the gun and said if you need help there will be someone in that area to help you just ask ... and when you ask it takes forever to get help.
