Courtyard by Marriott in Ronkonkoma. that's where our OOT bridal party will be staying too. we took a tour of the hotel and thought the suites were really nice.

ok i dont' know where to stay..anyone know of any good hotels near the watermill in smithtown?
The Hyatt Windwatch, where I'm staying, isn't too far from there.
There's also the Marriott Islandia around there and a number of other hotels.
the hyatt seems really nice especially that they have a romance package but isn't it more than 200 bucks? do you book online or in person?

Wingate Inn
I had a great experience with them. don't even bother paying for the suite. we got a regular room, and still received the champagne and truffles...bet. the wedding ending after midnight, then hanging out with the guests in the lobby bar, we didn't get upstairs until 3 am...9:30 am breakfast and checkout...
it didn't seem 'worth' it to spend the extra money on something we were getting minimal use out of (JMVHO)
This is what we are doing at the WIngate. We booked a king room for $139 (regular oom block rate) and they are giving us complimentary: Fresh Flowers, Champagne, Strawberries, breakfast in bed and a late check out of 2PM. They upgrade you to this package if you are a Fortunoff's registered bride. We are also having the bar stay open until 3AM- at no additional cost to us.
Oh yeah! We are doing the bar thing too! We just set that up last week. I was so psyched about that b/c my family likes to continue the party at the hotel afterwards. I love Wingate Inn!

We stayed at the LI Marriott in Uniondale. The bed was awesome. Like sleeping on a cloud!
