Where are you taking pics?

I am having a difficult time trying to find a mansion to take pics at in between the church and the reception. I would LOVEEEE to take pics at the Vanderbilt but I don't think I will have the time. Even though I will have a 3 hr gap in between my church and reception, they are 45 min apart from each other and I wanna take pics at my hall before the reception. I have checked out Chelsea Mansion butttt I don't LOVE it as much as the Vanderbilt. Hempstead House also is beautiful but id like gardens which they don't have. Any other suggestions? I looked at OWG BUT they only shoot indoors if its raining and I want indoor AND outdoor shots. Thanks!

I had my pictures done at the Vanderbilt and they came out beautiful. I understand the time constraint but I would talk to the Vanderbilt and see what they allow for timing. I think I had it for two hours and really the longest part was getting everyone down to the courtyard on the golf cart shuttle. I would say have everyone there and on time and I think you might be able to manage the time.

How long did you actually end up taking pics for....It will run VERY tight, I am just scared =(

I have to admit we arrived a little late to the Vanderbilt and ended up taking pictures for only about 1.5 hours. Setting up for our reveal seemd to take forever but even in the time we were there, we did get all of the pictures that I wanted - any others, we took at the venue. I understand you being scared. I also think your photographer could be a good resource for your timing, he'll know how much time will be needed - just a note a had a small bridal party but a huge family.
